The main brake cylinder
The main brake cylinder is some kind of "chief" in brake system. It is located behind at the left in a motor compartment and gives to supports of brake mechanisms or wheel brake cylinders "order" on braking. In more details about its design and functioning it is written in the beginning of this chapter.
Removal of the main brake cylinder

- To pump out a brake liquid from a compensatory tank.
- To remove a tank from the main brake cylinder.
- To disconnect all brake hoses of the main brake cylinder.
- To turn out both fixing bolts of the bottom fastening of the main brake cylinder.
- At assemblage to establish a new sealing ring between the amplifier of a brake drive and the main brake cylinder.
- To tighten a fixing nut the moment 25 Nm.
- Before to establish a tank, it is necessary to moisten from within with a brake liquid a sealing stopper of the connecting union of a compensatory tank.
- To remove air from brake system.
