Replenishment of a tank of a washer of glasses

Constant check

Suspension from exhaust gases, evaporations of oil and silicone from conditioning agents behind a varnish are constantly postponed on glasses. In a warm season therefore it is recommended to add a washing-up liquid in water; the nonfreezing liquid in the winter is necessary.

After removal of a plastic cover of a water-proof casing there are accessible three fixing screws (1, 2 and 3) screen wiper levers.

On an illustration on the right the engine of a screen wiper (1) is removed from the lever. On a drive (2) carving apertures of fixing screws (arrow) are visible. As there should be a crank of a drive (3) at installation, shows drawing: displacement from a parallel on
a = 6 to an average axis of the engine.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The bulk branch pipe for water is at the left in a motor compartment near to a broad tank of a cooling liquid. Into a tank enters about 4 l on the models which have been not equipped with system of washing of headlights if the car is equipped by similar system, the tank contains about 6,5 l.
  2. At first it is necessary to pour in a washing-up liquid, only then water that these liquids have well mixed up in a tank.
  3. If the car is not equipped by heating system впрыскных atomizers, they can freeze in strong frosts.
  4. For prevention of it the raised concentration of a nonfreezing liquid is recommended. The impurity денатурированного spirit can lead in a combination in antifreezing means to formation of flakes therefore atomizers can be hammered.
  5. Embedding of the usual petrol filter in the pipeline of system of washing of glasses prevents corking of washing atomizers.
  6. System of washing of back glass at Audi 80/Avant (versatile person): the tank for water with a rotary bulk branch pipe is under a cover on the right in a luggage compartment.

Regulation of a spraying stream

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To insert a needle into an aperture of a spraying atomizer.
  2. The aperture is in a ball which can be turned by means of a needle.
  3. To turn an atomizer until the water stream, as is shown in drawing, will not start to get on glass.

Warmed up электрически atomizers

Directly before atomizers there is a metal case with the heating resistor. With inclusion ignitions (plug) on this resistance the current arrives. Atomizers quickly thaw thanks to a high current strength arriving at first (0,5-0,7). For keeping of temperature the current strength after a heating phase falls to equal 200 мА. If the external temperature makes минус15С and more low, the supporting current strength raises to 320 мА.

Search of malfunctions

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To separate штекерное connection to an atomizer.
  2. At the included ignition to check up the voltmeter, whether pressure arrives and whether contact on "weight" is perfectly in order.
  3. Otherwise to search for conducting damage.
  4. If with a food everything is all right, it is necessary to replace an atomizer.
