Check backlash the bearing of a nave of a wheel

Defective bearings attract attention noise at movement. If noise becomes louder, for example on the right turns, means, the left bearing of a nave of a wheel is faulty.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Try to turn one behind another wheels firmly standing on the earth concerning their vertical axis.
  2. At serviceable bearings should not be almost any backlash.
  3. If люфт it is notable, ask the assistant to press strongly a pedal of a brake and once again shake a wheel: if it is not felt any more backlash, means, the reason only in the bearing.

  5. Now it is necessary to lift the car and to turn a wheel: if it moves hard or jerky, means, the bearing is established too hardly. If you distinctly hear a gnash, it is necessary to replace the bearing.
