Check of level of oil in the main transfer of an automatic transmission
The grade of oil which is distinct from that is applied in a mechanical transmission is applied to the main transfer of an automatic transmission. It should have viscosity SAE 90 and one of following specifications:
API GL 5 - MIL-L-2105B
Oil replacement is not provided, however it is necessary to supervise level of oil,
- If the case of the main transfer is outside soiled by oil or
- Level ATF in an automatic transmission has risen or has fallen without signs external негерметичности. In this case, probably, "exchange" of lubricant means between planetary transfer and the main transfer as it is described in the previous section has taken place. The control of level of oil occurs under the scheme described in the previous section.
