Distributive Torsen-differential

As it has already been told, distributive (or interaxal) the differential is necessary for an equilibration of forces between forward and back bridges. (Differentials of forward and back bridges work irrespective of it).

By the way, name Torsen occurs from firm Gleason, the manufacturer of transmissions where this differential has been invented. This name – reduction from English words Torque Sensing that means approximately a feeling twisting moment. Thereby it is as though the action description:

Work principle
